The University of Waterloo’s Engineering V building is set to open in 2010. This brand new, state of the art facility will house the much anticipated Student Design Centre, one of the few of its kind in North America. As one of the student teams moving into the building, WARG will be provided with unprecedented space for workshops, garages and labs. This will provide the team with the facilities to develop our growing list of projects and expand in the future. Also, with all of the teams centralized there will be plenty of opportunity for collaboration and cross- disciplinary projects between WARG and the other student design teams.
WARG 2010 Upper-Year Design Competition
Coming off the success of WARG’s Frosh Design Competition, a growing interest in aerospace competition developed. WARG’s response was the creation of a bigger, faster and more innovative competition aimed at the talented upper-year engineers at the University of Waterloo.
